I hope everyone has enjoyed a fantastic summer. We’d like to welcome you back to school this coming week.
I’m pleased to confirm that we have no “crumbly” concrete at Heavers Farm, so the school is safe for a full return as planned.
All pupils in Years 1-6 will be returning to school on Tuesday 5th September.
Reception children from Thursday 7th September, and Little Gems Nursery children at their Stay & Play sessions on Thursday 7th and Friday 8th September 9-11am (normal Nursery hours from Monday 11th September).
A few things to remember:
Classroom doors will be open at 8:40 until 8:50am. If you are not sure where your child’s class is, there will be staff in the playground to help. Give yourself plenty of time, as anyone arriving after 8:50 will need to go to the office to register late.
Due to the warm weather this week, you may choose to send your child to school in PE kit everyday or wear the summer uniform.
Children should come in PE kit on the following days:
Year One | Tuesdays and Thursdays |
Year Two | Tuesdays and Fridays |
Year Three | Mondays and Wednesdays |
Year Four | Mondays and Wednesdays |
Year Five | Tuesdays and Thursdays |
Year 6 | Wednesdays and Thursdays |
Please remember to send your child to school with a named water bottle every day.
I’m sure you’re as excited to be coming back to school as we are. I look forward to seeing you very soon.
Best wishes, Mr Askey.
