Dear Families,
I am very pleased t be able to share the final details for Sports Day, which is next Tuesday 11th July 2023.
Timings will be as follows:
| 9:30am – 11:30am | Nursery, Reception, Year One and Year Two Carousel of Activities at the school on the MUGA. |
| 11:30am-12 noon | Staff/Family Races and Results |
| 12 noon – 12:45pm | Lunch in the playground at Heavers Farm |
| 12:45pm -1:15pm | Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 pupils to walk to Croydon Arena |
| 1:15pm – 2:35pm | Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 Carousel of Activities |
| 2:40pm – 2:50pm | Class Races |
| 2:50pm – 3:15pm | Staff/Family Races and Results |
Children need to wear school PE kit, with the correct house colour shirt. As it is likely to be sunny, children should also have a hat and suncream. All children must have a water bottle.
Children will have lunch together at school, before the KS2 children walk to the arena.
School lunches will be provided to those that want them, but families sometimes choose to bring a picnic onto site to share with their family. Please do not share food with other children as there may be allergies that need to be considered.
Families are encouraged to walk with us from the school to the Arena, though families may also choose to meet us there (details below).This helps to keep the children safe.
Families with children in both parts of the sports day may sign out their younger children after lunch and take them to watch their older siblings compete at the Arena.
Children may be signed out and taken directly from the Arena. Any children not collected will walk back to school and we should be back by 3:45pm. Children who have Walking Home Agreements in place may walk home from either the Arena or the School, please make sure that your child’s class teacher knows which you have agreed to.
