Hello everyone and welcome back!
As you might remember, at the end of last term we asked you all to let us know what thought about a return to school uniform in September 2021. We had 531 responses, which is the largest response we have had to a survey ever. I think this shows the strength of feeling about this issue. The majority of parents voted for a return to formal school uniform.
This means that from September 2021 children will return to wearing formal school uniform. The details of our school uniform policy can be found on the School Uniform page.
The overall results for both schools were as follows:
Total number of responses: 531
No school uniform, children wear own sports clothes and trainers 36.53%
Return to formal school uniform 47.83%
Return to school uniform but for this to be a school branded tracksuit for all years: 15.63%
The results for Heavers Farm Primary were as follows:
Total number of responses: 285
No school uniform, children wear own sports clothes and trainers 37.54%
Return to formal school uniform 44.21%
Return to school uniform but for this to be a school branded tracksuit for all years: 18.25%
