Reopening on 8th March 2021

Only a few days to go now! We are really looking forward to welcoming you all back to school on Monday. I have updated our Covid plans and Covid risk assessment which will both be in place from Monday 8th March. In the meantime, the rules we have in place for our key worker provision will continue until that date.

There were a few questions that have come up, which I will answer below:

School Lunches

Our school meal provision will resume as normal on Monday, which means that if you usually pay for a school meal, it will be charged to your ParentPay account as usual. Children can bring in a packed lunch if they would prefer not to have a school meal.

School Uniform

Children should continue to wear their own, comfortable clothes to school. This is to enable you to wash your children’s clothes every day. Children should wear trainers and clothes suitable for sports as we will be asking children to take exercise every day.

Parents On Site

From Monday 8th March all children from Years 3 – 6 will be asked to come onto the school site on their own. They cannot be accompanied by their parent onto the school site. Children should be walked to the school gate at the start of the day and they will be taken back to the gate at the end of the day. Children from Nursery – Year 2 can continue to be accompanied to their classroom door by their parent. Please not that only one adult per family will be allowed onto the school site.

This is to minimise the number of people on the school site each day in order to keep everyone as safe as possible.

With best wishes,

Susan Papas
