As you know, the government has now instructed all schools to close from today until further notice.
While your children are at home we have put the following in place to ensure that they keep on learning.
We have made up home learning packs (exercise book, pencils, reading books and sharpener) will be sent home with pupils tomorrow. If your child is not in school and you are not self-isolating in-line with government guidance, you can come and collect these from the school office today.
We will use the year group blogs that are currently in use from Nursery to Year 6.
The teachers will be posting learning activities on the year group blog each day. So please make sure that you are signed up for the relevant blog(s), so that you receive updates.
All children in Years 3 – 6 have a login to Times Tables Rock Stars in their reading diary. We expect them to login and use this every day.
Sports staff will post PE instruction videos on the year groups blogs each week.
We will also be posting links to any other interesting learning activities and ideas on the blogs.
Our safeguarding and pastoral staff will be available during the school closure. If you have any concerns, please email the school and we will respond as quickly as we can:

Supporting Families with Food Provisions
At Heavers Farm we manage our school meals in-house. We have made up food packs using non-perishable food items for all families in need, these are being collected by parents today. These food packs should feed a family for up to three weeks. If the school is closed for longer than 3 weeks we will provide further provisions.
We are also looking into sourcing baby formula and nappies as parents have told us that these are extremely hard to get at the moment.
We will text you each time we have more food and provisions ready for collection.
