Check us out on the Palace For Life Foundation’s website, with an article all about our Girls’ Football Week celebrations.
As you all probably remember, we had Pam McRoberts (pictured below playing for Crystal Palace) from Crystal Palace Ladies FC come in and do an assembly, as well as deliver some super-fun football coaching sessions for our girls.
We were also featured on the Lionesses Twitter page, with an interview with Pam on our lovely 4G pitch.
We also hosted two girls’ football matches during the week, one for our Year 3&4 girls and another for our Year 5&6 girls. Both were victorious against our rivals, Selsdon Primary, with the Year 3&4’s winning 2-1 and the Year 5&6 girls winning 3-0.
We hope that everyone enjoyed Girls’ Football Week at Heavers Farm and that it encourages all of our girls to have a go at kicking a ball and getting involved in the Wildcats sessions every Saturday on our MUGA with the Palace for Life Foundation.
