In order to protect the safety of our children, from Monday 4th September 2017 there will be no vehicle access along Dinsdale Gardens during school drop off and pick up times. A new Pedestrian Only Zone has been introduced in Dinsdale Gardens (and Alverston Gardens) which means that any cars that enter or leave these roads between the hours of 08:00-09:30 and 14:00-16:00 on Monday to Friday will receive a £130 fine.
Croydon will be monitoring and enforcing the new restrictions every day at both drop off and pick up times. This will be achieved through unattended CCTV cameras with an automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) facility. This will mean that any vehicle entering the Pedestrian Only Zone during the restricted times may be issued a Penalty Charge Notice (PCN).
Staff and residents of Dinsdale Gardens will be issued with access permits so that they can continue to use the road during these times.
