Access to the school building

In order to improve the security of our school building, we have now fitted access controls to the doors leading from the entrance area to the classrooms. This means that from Monday 21st May 2017, parents will not be able to use these doors. A staff pass will be needed to open the doors from either side.

Classrooms

We would like to ask that parents do not to walk through the classrooms, or through the middle of the building. This is disruptive to the children as well as unsafe. All staff have been asked to challenge any non-staff adults that they see in the building.

The doors from the link building are locked at dropping off and picking up times, so are not available for use.

As a reminder, these are the drop off and pick up points for children:

Nursery children – from the Nursery building

Reception children -from the external classroom doors

Year 1 children – from the Key Stage 2 playground

Year 2 and 3 children – from the Key Stage 1 playground

Year 4 (except Quartz) – from the external classroom doors

Quartz Class – outside the rear door

Year 5 and 6 children – from the external classroom doors
