Absolutely amazing work, girls! We’re all very proud!
Today Heavers Farm were represented in a Croydon-wide public speaking contest by Stephanie and Yasmin in Year 6. They took the competition by storm, speaking about leaving the EU and how girls are perceived in public. The competition took place in Croydon Town Hall, and both girls spoke confidently and fluently without any notes. There were many important guests there, including Croydon’s mayor and journalists.
Stephanie came 2nd and Yasmin came 4th, out of the whole of Croydon! They did a great job speaking up for Women’s rights on International Women’s Day. We are extremely proud to have these two excellent role models representing our school!
Super proud of my niece, Stephanie. Go girl. I’m least surprised by this feat
