Following the tragic events earlier this week, investigations continue at the site and will do so for the rest of the day and over the coming weekend (Friday 11 – Sunday 13 November).
There is currently no tram service between East Croydon and Addington Village / Harrington Road / Elmers End for the rest of today and the coming weekend.
We will provide an update to your school community as soon as we are able on when services can resume.
The A323 Addiscombe Road is currently closed between Park Hill Road and Shirley Road
A number of buses are on diversion to avoid the A232 Addiscombe Road closure, including 119, 194, 198 and 466. Other buses in the area may also be delayed due to the road closure.
A special service will run between Addington Village and East Croydon
Additional buses are running on routes:
· 130 between Addington Village and East Croydon
· 289 between Elmers End and West Croydon
· 367 between Elmers End and East Croydon
· 466 between Addington Village and East Croydon
In order to ensure your school community experience as little disruption as possible during this time, we suggest you encourage them to check before they travel and leave plenty of time for their journey in case there are traffic delays.
