We have been busy over the summer break!
The two additional temporary classrooms have been installed on top of the existing temporary classrooms. These will be the Year 1 classrooms this year. These temporary classrooms will be removed as soon as the new extension is complete, at the end of this academic year.
We have improved the Key Stage 1 playground, removing the hedges and worn-out grass banks, and replaced them with artificial grass. this has increased the amount of space available for the children to play on, and will enable them to use the whole of the playground space throughout the year.
Work has started on our new two-storey extension. The building work will take place over the few months and during this time, parts of the school site will be fenced off, and inaccessible. We are doing all that we can to prevent any inconvenience to our pupils and their families. The field will be replaced with a state of the art, all weather pitch, which we hope will be ready for use by start of next term. Whilst work is taking place on the field we will be using other areas around the school site for playtimes and P.E. lessons. We will be posting regular updates about the building project throughout the year.
