Following on from learning done in PSHE and a WE day workshop the children had about the importance of communities, the Year 5 children have organised a whole-school Danceathon event in aid of local charities which will be held on Thursday 14th July between 1:30-2:30pm.
They have chosen the Cha-Cha Slide as the song that everyone will be dancing to and there will be some of the choreographers on hand to show the children the steps. The more children involved the better the spectacle and the more money we will raise.
The suggested amount we are asking for is 50p per child and all the money will go to benefiting the local community.
KS2 children will be invited to join us in the Hall at 1:30-2:00pm and Early Years and KS1 children at 2:00-2:30pm
