Earlier this year we gave all parents the opportunity to consult with us about our SRE policy. As a result of this consultation, we updated our policy (a copy of which can be found here – sre-policy-march-2016). The policy states that we share with you the content of these lessons prior to them being delivered – to ensure you are comfortable with your child being included in the SRE lessons. We are doing this via separate evening drop–in session for years 5 and 6.
Both sessions will be on Monday 20th June at 5pm. The year 5 session will be held in Coral class with the year 6 session being held in Aquamarine class. During the session you will receive a written summary of information to be shared with your children and will have the opportunity to ask questions. This information will also be available on request to any parents/carers who cannot make it the day.
