Yellow house is now Alan Turing house, with 28% of the 301 votes. This was a really close race, with Stephen Hawking and Marie Curie proving tough competitors.
Alan Turing was an inspirational British computer scientist, mathematician, logician, cryptanalyst and theoretical biologist. He is well known for designing one of the first computers and his part in breaking German code during the war. He was persecuted for his sexuality.
Green house is now Benjamin Zephaniah house, receiving 29% of the 294 votes, a tough race with Roald Dahl.
Benjamin Zephaniah is a British-Jamaican poet, playwright, musician and author. Zephaniah overcame many boundaries in his early life to become a world-renowned writer.
Red house is now Martin Luther King Jr. house, dominating the poll with a whopping 40% of the 282 votes.
Martin Luther King Jr. was an American minister, known for his monumental role in the African-American civil rights movement, and his use of nonviolent civil disobedience (peaceful protests) to advance this cause.
Blue house is now Jessica Ennis-Hill house, again with a whopping 36% of the vote.
Jessica Ennis-Hill is a British heptathlete and 100m hurdle athlete, she is the current Olympic and world heptathlon champion!
