Reading workshops for Year 1 in December 

 

We are pleased to be holding a series of reading workshops for parents of our Year 1 children. The workshops allow our teachers to work together with parents to discuss the coloured book banding system we use and to suggest strategies for helping children progress with their home reading. Letters with more detail about the book banding system have gone out in book bags – a copy of which is attached

The dates of the workshops are:

Diamond Class: Tuesday 8^th December 9am

Peridot Class:  Wednesday 9^th December 9am

Emerald Class:  Thursday 10^th December 9am

Jade Class:  Friday 11^th December 9 am
