One of our Teaching Assistants at Selsdon, Claudia, has a nephew, Billy, who was diagnosed with bone cancer five days before his 20th birthday. He has recently had to undergo surgery to amputate his leg and hip. In order for Billy to be able to walk again his family have to raise money for a prosthetic limb as the NHS are not able to fund this.
So Billy and his family are looking to raise £70,000 for the new limb.
