Christmas Appeals

JoelWe are delighted to announce that we will be supporting Great Ormond Street Hospital and Take a Break’s, Cuddles for Christmas Appeal and the Croydon Advertiser’s Toys for Joys Appeal. Our very own Joel Sprouse has been helping advertise both of these campaigns in the media.

Take a Break magazine are supporting Great Ormond Street Hospital with their Cuddles for Christmas campaign which aims to raise £10,000 towards the cost of providing accommodation for parents to stay near their sick child. To support his we are asking that all children come to school in their party clothes on the last day of term, Thursday 20th December 2012 and bring a minimum £1.00 donation towards the appeal. The staff will be holding a Christmas jumper competition; we will all be competing to win a Christmas cake. Staff will also make a donation towards the Great Ormond Street Hospital appeal.

For their Toys for Joy appeal, the Croydon Advertiser are asking their readers to donate new or nearly-new toys to Croydon University Hospital. The toys will be given to children who are in hospital over Christmas. Joel features in an article in the Advertiser which you can read here. If you could bring in donations of new or nearly new toys to school before the end of term we will deliver them to the Croydon Advertiser on your behalf.
