We are going to be holding a special week dedicated to story telling and story writing during the week 19th – 23rd November 2012.
The whole school will be taking part from Nursery to Year 6. The week will start with the teachers telling a bedtime story to their class.
Over the week the children will be involved in a range of exciting activities and on Friday they will be presenting their own versions of the bedtime story to the rest of the class.
You are very welcome to join us on Friday 23rd November 2012 from 1.45pm to hear your child’s story. The story telling will be followed by a cake sale, so don’t forget to send in a cake on Friday morning with your child.
We will also be having a pyjama day for all of the staff and children on Friday 23rd 2012. We are asking for a £1.00 donation from each child.
All of the money raised from the cake sale and the pyjama day will be sent to BBC’s Children in Need appeal.
I hope that we rase a lot of money for the chilldren in need.
I agree with Kanhai it is extremeley critical to raise an acceptable amount of money for those of us who need it the most.
