The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee

Next week we will be celebrating The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.

On Thursday the children who are having school dinners will be served a special Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Lunch. The lunch will be in a party theme and will include items such as various sandwiches, pizza fingers, crudities, tortilla chips and salsa, salads, fruit juice and even Jubilee ice cream with shortbread. If your child has a packed lunch and you would like them to join in, then please send in a special packed lunch for your child on that day.

On Friday the PTA are organising a Queen’s Jubilee Street Party Fun Day. They will be sending a letter out about this before the end of the week.

It will be a Royal Fancy Dress mufti day we are asking everyone to come dressed as a king, queen, princess, prince, soldier, Beefeater, Royal Guard, London Landmark or dressed in red, white and blue.

Children will be asked to bring in party food for a picnic lunch outside, parents are invited too!

After lunch the PTA are organising a Fun Day with a range of activities and stalls on the field. We are looking for volunteers to help on each stall. If you would like to help, please speak to your class teacher.

All children will be given a special Jubilee gift. There will also be a crown making competition with a prize for the best crown.
