This new club is led by a group of young people from an organisation called Potential which was born out of the tragedy of the gang related death of a family member and friend. Heavers Farm is very proud of the opportunities given to us by working with Potential who provide extremely positive role models to our pupils – demonstrating that there are positive choices and options to be made in life. We work with this local group in a number of ways – including a Soccer Club and mentoring projects.

Leon Spence and other mentors from Potential are offering this club to our Year 6 pupils and those that have recently left our school with the focus on reaching these children before there are the very real dangers of their becoming involved with negative influences such as gangs. As with all of our clubs children are expected to follow the school rules they will be used to during the school day which helps ensure a fun time for everyone.

Youth Club takes place in the Year 6 class area on Tuesdays finishing at 4pm and Potential charges £3 each session which should be given directly to Leon (not the school) who would prefer payments to be given for a half term.

Booking forms are available from the school office.
