We offer two Drama Clubs – one on Wednesdays for pupils from Years 1 and 2 and the second on Thursdays for children in Key Stage 2 (Years 3 – 6) both finishing at 4.15pm.
Both clubs are run by Antonio Silvestri who works at our school covering classes and teaching drama. Drama Club generally takes place in our Music Room. Antonio was born in Italy and has been in the UK for a number of years. He has worked in a number of schools and we were lucky enough to employ him a few years ago. He has a love of performance and drama, he performs in an Italian acting troupe “Escape in Art”. He occasionally acts for workplace organisations in training films, has appeared in several short movies plus does voice-overs for TV in the UK and has a long tradition of acting in his home country.
The children have put on their own plays for the school that are greatly anticipated and highly enjoyable. Toni has also taken the club to the West End to see professional theatre productions.
The charge for Drama Club is £4 per session which we ask parents to pay in advance wherever possible. Payments should be made to the school office and receipts will be provided. Drama Club can be booked on the Club Form available from the school office. This is a massively popular club so please remember that bookings are on a first come first served basis.
