Heavers Farm is a warm, successful primary school in South Norwood located in an innovative, award winning building. Our children come from a richly diverse range of backgrounds and they, along with our talented and hard-working staff, contribute to the happy welcoming environment that we have created at our school.

Not only do our pupils achieve well in their test results, they also excel at sports. We boast the country’s youngest black belt in Taekwondo, we have Croydon cross-country champions, Tag Rugby and Basketball league winners as well as talented football players several of whom have been scouted for top London football teams. Our children have a keen interest in art, drama, dance and singing. The pupils organise an annual talent competition; that they judge alongside staff.  Last year the pupils and staff converted the school into ‘Tate South Norwood’ and invited their friends and family to their ‘Private View’. This year in the week running up to the royal wedding we turned the school in an ‘art school’. All of the staff and pupils made conceptual art pieces based on the idea of love.

Our pupils and staff are conscious of the world around them and regularly collect donations for families and children who are in need. As well as responding to world-wide appeals, the school recently organised a collection of furniture, toys and clothes from the local community for two families whose house had been destroyed by a fire.

We have a clear vision for Heavers Farm, we believe that all of our children have the right to a high quality education which enables them leave our school with the skills and confidence they need to succeed to the highest level.

We always welcome visitors and would love to meet you. So if you would like to find out more, please telephone the school office and one of us will happily show you around and answer your questions.
